Valerie Cook

My name is Valerie Cook.  I am very honoured to be able to work with you and capturing your special memories.

I started in photography on a 35mm (film) Canon camera.  It was the early 1980’s; so everything was manual.  I have spent my life honing my skills, pursuing my passion, and learning all I could learn about photography.

I love being able to capture the personalities of my clients.  Your photos are about you; and I encourage you to infuse your personality into your session.  My favorite photography services include wedding photography and families (especially if there are fur babies!).

I have had the distinct honour of being published many times.  I have even been the cover artist three times…two on the front, one on the back.  More recently, I was a featured artist!

I believe that everyone deserves to have quality professional photos for their life events.  I strive to make that happen for my clients by offering affordable package options, the ability to create custom packages, and even payment plans.

I am a former Theatre Arts teacher.  I am really, really good at thinking outside the box!  My goal is to make each session unique to the individuals…and fun!
