Puppy Love | CT Wedding and Pet Photographer
I am truly passionate about weddings – and I love animals – dogs especially!
So when I walked into Mike’s house a few weeks ago to get a handful of pictures of him getting ready for his wedding, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I learned that they had a litter of 5 week old labrador puppies at the house from their rescued yellow lab. Really?? I mean really really? Puppies and a groom in one room?? It doesn’t get much better than that! And since Mike is a big dog person and his dogs are his family, we HAD to take a few pics with these cute little fluff balls. How cute is this!? Puppy kisses on your wedding day! Priceless!
Puppy Cooper | Connecticut Pet photographer
Beagle Puppy Cooper is just too cute for this world. Nine pounds of furry puppy sweetness. Look at his long ears and the wrinkly nose. I can’t help but smile when I see the images of this little boy.
Please refer to my Pet Photography Blog to enjoy more images of this sweetheart. It’s worth checking out!!
Oh happy day. | Connecticut Children and Wedding Photographer
…
This morning I was woken up by the sun shining thru my bedroom window – lovely. Shortly after my dog Ziva demanded her morning cuddle time – what a great start into the day. I must admit, I already miss photographing weddings on weekends a little bit – but I do enjoy not having to rush out of bed on a Saturday morning but to wake up to the sun and the birds and sweet doggy kisses instead. And I still got some photography in today – shooting a christmas card session with one of my last years foster puppies and their adopters and afterwards I had a little family session at Boothe Memorial Park. The weather was nice and everyone seemed to have a really good time.
And while out there at the park, waiting for my client, I caught this squirrel on camera – who was having a good time, chewing on nuts while enjoying the view and the sun. Somehow I felt this picture was a good symbol for today’s day. Relaxed and happy :)
Happy weekend :)
A Stroll on Laurel Beach | Milford, CT Children Photographer
Meet princess Zoe – isn’t she just too cute to be true?
When I headed out to Laurel Beach in Milford today, thick fog was hanging over the beach – giving it an almost unreal and mystical look. It reminded me a lot of the fog over the fields in my hometown. When I was little, I was sometimes a little scared of it – but it has always fascinated me, too.
Little Miss Zoe seemed little impressed by the fog – nor was she scared. But then again – she had her favorite buddy protecting her – and her new cute pink sweater dress from The Gap was shining bright thru the fog :)
I had a lot of fun taking Zoe’s photos today – she is such an incredibly sweet young lady with big brown eyes and the cutest smile (well, if she feels like smiling anyways. She can be quite stubborn in times. But a good old children song got her to laugh quite alright).
This is only a tiny sneak peak – more pictures will follow after Christmas. For now they have to remain a little secret for Zoe’s mommy and daddy :)
Meet Mister Max – a Shepherd Mix Puppy | Connecticut Dog Photographer
Dear friends, family and pet lovers,
Please meet my current foster puppy – Mister Max. Little Max is only 11 weeks young and 12 pounds light – and he is looking for a loving home. He is a rescue puppy from Tennessee (same organization as my dogs Zazu and Ziva) and he is a Shepherd Mix. Not sure, what else is in him – it might be labrador (coloring and tail look like lab). But regardless – he is a very sweet little boy who is curious, enjoys a nice walk (he’s already quite good on a leash), and he loves to snuggle up in the evenings when he get’s tired. During the day he prefers to play and be silly and stick out his cute dotted little tongue. He has the most beautiful big puppy eyes ever. And since he is a shepherd mix, his ears might end up standing up.
Here are some pictures of this precious puppy. Please share this post so that we find him a warm and cozy home before Christmas!
For more information on Max send me an email.

What’s going on down there?

He likes pine needles and leafs – it’s like camouflage for him.

Big and happy puppy smile :)

Oh yes – he LOVES Zazu’s football. She is somewhat ok with it – I guess.
Max hiding behind a bush – but in the end he’s always more curious than scared ;)

Look at me. I am so tall and pretty and handsome.
Isn’t he just gorgeous?
After a long day of playing it’s time for a nap.

What a sunday – a walk on the beach | Connecticut Pet Photographer
…
What a great weekend this has been. After two amazing, beautiful and fun weddings Friday and Saturday, including sun, fall foliage and a snowstorm, I decided it was time to take a day off to spend this gorgeous day with my family, puppies and dear friends.
The warm morning sun turned our living room golden yellow and gave it an amazing warm glow. So I couldn’t resist to snap a couple of pictures of my dogs and our little foster puppy Louie. As the day went on and it got warmer, the snow started melting and I swear it smelled like spring outside. So wired. But hey – the weather has been wired around here lately – so what is wrong with some spring in the fall? Around noon it got so gorgeous out that we decided to go down to the beach for a walk. Ivan and I packed our two dogs (Zazu and Ziva) as well as our foster puppy – little Mr Louie (aka Cajun Louie) in the car and off we went. Together with my dear friend Brooke and her pup Madi we drove to the beach to meet up with Maryellen and Mike. And then we enjoyed some amazing and fun beach time on this gorgeous fall, winter, spring day.
PS: Little Louie is up for adoption and would love to find a loving forever home before the winter comes… If you are interested in adopting him (or in fostering dogs in need) – please email me.

Thanks everyone for this perfect day!
Meet Ginger – 23 lbs of soft and fluffy happiness :) | CT Pet Photographer
I have a confession to make: I LOVE dogs! I am crazy about them! And when I see a dog in need I want to help.
Dogs are our best friends – loyal, sincere and always there to cuddle and comfort you or to make you smile. They are silly, playful, little trouble makers that steel your heart in no time. Who can be mad at them when they give you the sweetest: “wasn’t me – so love me please” look? Zazu and Ziva own this look. Ziva has is perfectionated – and when she lays on “her” couch and gives you that “what? This coach isn’t my dog bed? Really? Ups. But look, it is PERFECT for me” look I can’t help but have to laugh.
Unfortunately, not all dogs have a loving home that they deserve. But thanks to people like Candace at CCR (Critter Cavalry Rescue) a lot of dogs and puppies are saved and get a 2nd chance. One of these lucky pups is our current foster puppy Ginger. She is a 4-month old mix (Border Collie, Cattle Dog and dad was a Great Pyrenees mix). She is pure cuteness and so insanely fluffy and soft you do not want to stop cuddling with her :).

Always curious :)
Puppy taking a little break.
Found something good (or smelly).
She currently weighs 23 lb. Ginger is very affectionate. She loves to cuddle and be hugged and she will shower you with kisses as a thanks. Her personality is happy, playful yet calm. She is very curious and likes to discover every inch of our yard. Her and my dod Zazu kept running around in the yard this morning – playing fetch. Yet, when indoors, Ginger settles down easily.
She is currently being crate and house trained. She is up to date with all her shots and has been spayed. Moreover, she has been treated with advantage and has been examined by our vet – she was tested for worms and other diseases and has been found negative.
So if you are looking to adopt a furry friend please contact me. Or maybe you know a friend that is looking for a puppy? Please share this blog post so that we can find a loving forever home for this cutsy pie :)
