Amanda and Shawn | Ritz Carlton Boston Wedding – Part II
As promised, here comes part two of Amanda and Shawn’s gorgeous Boston wedding at the Ritz Carlton. Read their getting ready post here.
While Shawn could walk over to the church from his apartment – which is the red brick stone building just across the church – Amanda and the girls got to take the wedding trolley. Shawn was already anxiously waiting when Amanda arrived. Then finally, her dad walked her down the isle – and look how gorgeous the light looked as they were standing in the entrance way. Simply gorgeous. During the whole ceremony, Amanda couldn’t stop smiling and looking at Shawn – and vice versa. What a happy couple :)
Amanda and Shawn’s apartment is in a cozy old house with a super nice entry way. Of course, Brooke and I took the opportunity to grab a few photos there while we were waiting for all the guests to leave church.
And then we were off with the wedding trolley for some more photo taking. And of course it was time for a toast and some champaign :) PS: Brides – if you can at all integrate some extra time for picture taking between the ceremony and reception you should totally do it.
First stopp: An old building along the way which I had spotted when driving to church. Thankfully, Amanda and Shawn fully trusted Brooke and I – and look how cool those shots came out… :)
Next stop: Boston common for more bridal party photos
Last but not least it was time for some photos of Amanda and Shawn – the light was ridiculously gorgeous at that point and so we just snapped away – getting formals and candids. I particularly like the picture where the two of them are walking back to the trolley and Shawn in holding the flowers. Ivan and I have a similar picture from our wedding and it is hands down my favorite image of the day. So I am extra happy to be able to give this to Amanda and Shawn, too :)
Check back for part three – the Reception at the Ritz Carlton – coming soon.

Stunning job!
